Our resident editor, Kemi Alemoru, Former Head of editorial at Glamour UK goes into the closet with Nana.

“It’s so cliché, but fashion should be fun. I really pride myself on being the most overdressed person in the room. Maybe I belong to the peacocking camp. Who knows? I love colour, I love print, I love texture, so my outfit is always going to be based around one of those aspects.

The items I love the most when it comes to my wardrobe are my shoes. I have to start off with an amazing pair of heels. They are the basis for me for any good outfit. I don’t own any flat shoes unless they are for the gym, so my heels are definitely my prized possession. I am of the camp that believes a lot of your clothes or a lot of your wardrobe should be seasonless.

I’m such a Spring/Summer girly that I adapt all those items for winter by adding a layer and a pair of boots, and I never put away my summer clothes. They are out year-round, and I will find a way to wear them in winter. I’m not going to go out in a strapless dress if it’s snowing. But yeah, other than that, most items work in all seasons.
